Municipal Council Members in South Al Batinah Take Oath of Office, Elects Deputy Chairman

A’Rustaq: Members of the Municipal Council in the Governorate of South Al Batinah today took the oath of office before Sheikh Saif Hamyer Al Shuhi, Governor of South Al Batinah, Chairman of the Council.

During the Council’s first meeting of Municipal Councils’ Third Term, the members elected Saud Said Al Ma’awali as Deputy Chairman of the Council. The election was conducted electronically through the use of “Tanmia” app.

The meeting also saw the formation of standing committees, which were the Legal Affairs Committee, the Social Affairs Committee, the Governorate’s Development Committee and the Health and Environmental Affairs Committee.
