    Muscat: Musandam Power issues details on Temporary Malfunction at one of the stations

    In a disclosure to Muscat Stock Exchange the company said: “Continuing from our previous disclosure reference # (MSX/2023/013) dated 28th August 2023 titled “Disclosure of Other Material Information — Temporary Malfunction”:

    The Company has promptly implemented crucial measures to ensure the reliable operation of diesel fuel systems. These measures include the filtration of diesel tanks, ultrasonic inspection of tanks and pipelines, and the establishment of a dynamic maintenance plan for fuel system filters, among others.

    Furthermore, we are actively pursuing additional measures such as the physical cleaning and inspection of tanks, along with an assessment of the fuel system design to explore potential enhancements. These ongoing efforts aim to provide further assurance of system reliability.

    We intend to provide further information on the financial impact of this incident and the outcomes of the implemented measures in due course. Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
