Muscat Airport guidelines for passengers travelling on October

How do we travel? What is required for us at the airport? If we need to return to the Sultanate, what are the procedures?

Many questions in the mind for those wishing to travel after the Supreme Committee announced the opening of the airport on 1st October.

A guide issued by the Civil Aviation Authority that answers these questions:

Before traveling, for departing passengers

1, Compliance with documents, check procedures of the country of destination.

2, It is preferred to complete the travel procedures electronically.

3, Fill out the electronic health declaration form free of Covid-19

4, Only one handbag per passenger and one from the duty free are allowed; This is to avoid cluttering hand luggage at security points.

5, Passengers must come to the airport at least 3 hours before the flight departure or 4 hours at the most.

6, Any passenger with Covid-19 disease or its symptoms specified by the Ministry of Health shall be permitted to enter the airport.

7, All travelers must adhere to wearing masks in the correct way upon arrival at the airport and for the duration of the trip.

8, non-travelers are not allowed to enter the departures building, except for one escort for people with special needs.
