Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman was ranked among the four safest Arab countries for the year 2022, according to the Numbeo’s Safety Index 2022

The Sultanate of Oman among with the UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia as the safest Arab countries for 2022, while Muscat ranked 18th globally among the safest cities and the lowest crime rate in the world.

The index ranks 459 cities, based on the public’s answers to questions related to cost of living, safety, pollution and crime.
