Muscat: Omans’ Muscat Duty free will apply 5% VAT from today 16 April 2021.

In a statement Muscat Duty Free said: Dear travelers, We would like to inform you that as of 16 April, Muscat Duty Free will be applying 5% vat. In departures shops vat will be applied for domestic passengers only. In arrival shop vat will be applied only for transactions of 300 OMR or above and airline crew will be charged vat for all airlines on all purchases.
