Muscat: Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC) – a member of the Nama Group – issued an notice to its subscribers in the Governorate of Muscat.
The company said in notice that it is in the process of updating software for prepaid electricity meter system in the subscribers’ buildings, starting from September 6, 2020.
The company invited the participants to cooperate with the contractor concerned to complete the work in the buildings used for a prepaid counter for the public interest.
It is noteworthy that the company witnessed a great turnout by subscribers in the request to install the meter earlier in homes and commercial buildings, as this service enables the subscriber to control and monitor the monthly consumption without having to wait for the monthly bills.
