Muscat Electricity Distribution operates a new plant in Seeb

Muscat: The Muscat Electricity Distribution Company has operated its new electrical station in Al Maabilah Al Janoubia – Phase VI – in the Wilayat of Seeb, to be within the scope of the company’s electrical network in Muscat Governorate, where the station was established with a voltage of 11/33 kilovolts and an estimated capacity of (3 (20 x Megavolt Amps).

The new plant was commissioned after examining and testing the protection and control devices by the company’s engineers, to ensure its readiness and efficiency for operation, which will contribute to covering the increasing demand for energy in that region.

The company’s inauguration of this station comes as part of its annual plan to introduce new stations in the Governorate of Muscat and to accommodate the increasing annual demand for electricity to ensure the supply of subscribers with reliable and efficient electrical energy in the long term.
