The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry will organize at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center on Monday, August 7, the Muscat Exhibition and Forum for Tourism Investment Opportunities under the auspices of His Excellency Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and in the presence of His Excellency Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors, and a number of their Excellencies and members of the Board of Directors. Chamber management, with the participation of a group of Omani companies and investors and their counterparts from the Gulf Cooperation Council and friendly countries, and the activities of the forum will continue for two days.

The forum aims to present investment opportunities to investors wishing to invest in the tourism sector such as hotels, resorts, entertainment cities and other vital projects, as well as presenting investment opportunities in the sports tourism sector through holding international sporting events and tournaments, establishing medical sports cities in the Sultanate of Oman and other investment projects. Sports, in addition to investing in real estate development and opportunities in establishing integrated cities.

The forum will review a number of visual presentations on tourism investment opportunities, and bilateral meetings will be held between investors and companies to review the opportunities available to the participants. Russian and Thai companies specializing in the supply of hotel and tourist resort supplies, in addition to the large participation from the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, and from various Arab countries.
