Muscat Governor announces plans to develop ‘Al Qurum Commercial District’

Al Qurum Commercial District To Get Modern Facelift

Muscat: With a purpose to develop “Modern Al Qurum Commercial District”, Muscat governor meets with the owners of real estates and commercial centers.

His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, held a meeting on Tuesday with the owners of real estate businesses and commercial centres operating in the Qurum commercial district.

The meeting reviewed plans to develop the Qurum Commercial District in terms of aspects related to shopping and entertainment needs and the services and facilities that accompany them.

The plan aims to develop the Al Qurm commercial district to be a vibrant shopping destination, by rehabilitating the public spaces in the district, paving them, landscaping them, and lighting them in a modern and modern way, and adding spaces that provide promising new commercial opportunities for small and medium enterprises working in the areas of retail trade, food, cafes, and others. From entertainment, shopping and events services, the development project for the Qurum Commercial District is expected to achieve a number of economic, social and tourism returns and create more job opportunities for young people.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Humaidi, Mayor of Muscat.

Meanwhile, Sayyid Khalid al Busaidi, Chairman of SABCO Group, shared his enthusiasm on social media.
