Muscat Governor Inspects Regions Affected by the weather in Quriyat

Muscat: His Excellency Al Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Muscat governor, did an inspection visit to various affected sites in the Wilayat of Quriyat. In the presence of His Excellency Quriyat wali, the Engineer, Director General of Muscat Municipality in Quriyat, and a number of officials and residents. It included visiting some regions in the wilayat, including: Siyaa, Al Ramla, Afaa and a visit to Wadi Dayqah Dam in Al-Mazari village. It aims to inspect the damage Quriyat suffered as a result of the rainfall, the flow of valleys and reefs during the weather that the Sultanate of Oman recently witnessed.

His Excellency, Muscat governor stressed the importance of efforts’ joining and roles’ integration to address all the observations resulting from this rain, such as water accumulation and the road network’s impact.

At the same time, he praised the done efforts by the concerned authorities via previous readiness to reduce the weather condition’s effects and emphasizing that Muscat Governorate is committed to utilize all the resources and use available means. As well as, in partnership with various specialized authorities to address the noticed observations. Additionally, guarantee that services and conditions return to their normal condition and following up on the wilayat’s needs according to established principles and procedures.
