Muscat: Muscat Municipality will participate in the “COMEX Technology 2024” exhibition, which will be starting on Monday, May 27 until 30 May 2024 , at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, from May 27 to 30, 2024.. The aim of the participation is to showcase Muscat Municipality’s relentless efforts to transform Muscat into a “smart and sustainable city” in line with its objectives towards complete digital transformation of electronic transactions.

Muscat Municipality’s participation will be represented by a booth at the COMEX exhibition, highlighting its achievements in digital transformation. The booth will display the electronic services system it offersoffered  to beneficiaries, and will shed light on ongoing and future service projects aimed at improving the quality of life in Muscat Governorate, and enhance its development. Additionally, it will emphasize electronic readiness and harness modern information technologies and applications to serve various municipal work areas, aiming to unify and improve procedures across the municipal sector in Oman in integration with the governorates.

Visitors and attendees of the exhibition will benefit from learning about the Unified Municipal System project, the electronic services portal, the “Etamid platform”, and the smart services system that enhances performance efficiency and improves user experience. Furthermore, they will understand the role of Muscat Municipality in the Traffic Control Center and the smart lighting system, as well as the services of the Muscat Municipality Call Center, which serves as a link with the community.

Through its participation in COMEX 2024 this year, Muscat Municipality reaffirms its commitment to transforming Muscat into a “smart and sustainable city” and Iit strives through its various projects and initiatives to provide the best services to citizens and residents, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
