Muscat: Muscat Municipality announces the awarding of construction works for the Muttrah Square Project, Winner of first place in the inaugural Bilarab Bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design.
Muttrah Square is a landmark project designed to infuse the capital with high-quality urban elements that elevate the quality of life, enrich the tourism experience, and align with the aspirations of the National Urban Development Strategy 2040 Muttrah Square.
The project includes
An iconic U-shaped bridge spanning the sea, 5 metres wide
A multi-purpose plaza with green spaces and pedestrian walkways
A modern lighting system that harmonises with the rhythm of the sea waves, creating a captivating atmosphere
