Muscat: Oman’s Muscat Municipality clarifies to a video clip circulating on Social media that destroying crops at central fruits and vegetables market
In a statement Muscat Municipality said: Referring to the video clip circulating about the operations of destroying crops in the central market for vegetables and fruits, we would like to clarify that the destroyed crops turned out to be unfit for human consumption, with signs of corruption appearing in them. This procedure comes in implementation of health requirements, and in the interest of the health and safety of the consumer.
