Muscat Municipality re-introduced the dualization of Al Nuzha Street project for bidding

Muscat: A tender was issued to implement the dualization project of Al Nuzha Street in the southern Maabilah area in the Wilayat of Seeb, by constructing dual and service streets and traffic intersections with high traffic capacity, surface water drainage systems, and providing the necessary protections for the roads.

Components of the project:

Construction of a duplication of Al Nozha Street, 11 km long.

Establishing (6) traffic intersections with traffic lights with high traffic capacity.

Constructing service roads with a length of (3.5) kilometers.

Constructing a concrete channel to drain surface water with a length of (25) km, and water drainage systems on both sides.

Road, multi-cell box expressions.

LED street lighting.

Project goals:

Enhancing traffic efficiency along Al Nozha Street and Al Salam Street.

Serving vital facilities, plans and urban neighborhoods.

Improving surface water drainage systems and crossings. www.mm.gov.om
