Muscat: Muscat Municipality on Thursday issued list of fine exemption decision
In a statement Muscat Municipality said: Based on the decisions of the Supreme Committee in charge of examining a mechanism for dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus issued on September 22, and in the interest of the public interest, the Muscat Municipality has decided the following exemptions:
1, Exemption from fines for all municipal licenses and their annexes for commercial activities, provided that they are renewed before 31 December, 2021.
2, Exemption from fines for all lease contracts, subject to ratification before 31 December, 2021.
Muscat Municipality urged all beneficiaries of its services to take advantage of the period of exemption from fines and to urgently correct and update their documentation before 31 December 2021. The Muscat Municipality also reminds all beneficiaries that all licenses expired on 31December, 2019 or less will be canceled in the event that the data and conditions are not corrected beyond 31 December, 2021, added in the statement.
