    • Muscat Municipality, OPAL sign MoC in Occupational Health and Safety system

    Muscat: Muscat Municipality and the Oman Energy Association (OPAL) signed a memorandum of cooperation (MoC) in the field of developing the occupational health and safety sector, with the aim of setting a general framework for cooperation between the two sides in areas and priorities of common interest, and activating cooperation between the two parties in several areas.

    Areas of cooperation

    Focused on the areas of developing the occupational health and safety system in Muscat municipality.

    Establishing a general policy for occupational health and safety for Muscat Municipality.

    Developing a methodology for dealing with work-related injuries and procedures for investigating occupational accidents.

    Setting occupational safety standards for municipal work sectors.

    Professional safety controls and requirements for recreational games during events and festivals held by Muscat Municipality.
