    • Muscat Municipality suspends tax collection for some sectors until end of December 2021

    Muscat: Muscat municipality decides to stop collecting the municipality for some selected sectors tax from hotels, tourist restaurants, cinemas, entertainment and cabaret centers, until the end of December 2021.

    In a statement Muscat municipality said: Following the economic stimulus package mitigating the repercussions of COVID19 , Muscat municipality taxes collected from hotels, tourist restaurants, cinemas, entertainment centers has been suspended until the end of December 2021.
