    Muscat: Muscat Municipality will work on recalculating the municipal tax chargeable on commercial activities, hotel establishments, tourist restaurants, and amusement and amusement parks starting from January 1, 2022.

    In the statement said Muscat Municipality : With regard to the economic stimulus plan aimed at supporting the recovery efforts to mitigate the economic repercussions induced by Covid-19, which included an exemption from the municipal tax for hotel establishments, tourist restaurants, amusement centers and parks until the end of 2021.

    Muscat Municipality wishes to draw the attention of business owners that the tax on these activities and establishments will be returned from January 1, 2022.
