Seven Children, woman injured after an electric toy game had fallen during operation in Oman Convention and Exhibition Center

In a statement CDAA said: The rescue and ambulance teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Muscat dealt with a report that an electric toy had fallen during operation in the field of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center in Al-Irfan city.

The accident resulted in the injury of 7 children and a woman, whose injuries ranged from medium to light.

The municipality also confirmed that there were no serious injuries to the children, saying: “The medical authorities and the specialised teams examined the injured persons and transferred six of them to the hospitals for examination. Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries.”

The municipality also called upon people to get information from its official sources, saying: “Please investigate information from its official sources and not to circulate rumours. We affirm our concern for the safety of everyone, old and young, and our seriousness in following all the approved standards.”
