Muscat Social Committee Praises the Efforts of the Charitable Team

Muscat: The Social Development Committee in Muscat wilayat held its second meeting in 2024. It aims to discuss the previous meeting’s report and review the recommendations, assistances and procedures that were taken.

Reviewing the requests, which were submitted by the Department of Social Development, was also discussed at the meeting, approving appropriate recommendations and offerring several assistances. The committee recommended communicating several parties in this regard.

The committee reviewed what it did during the previous climate conditions (Al Mateer) and the preparation for such conditions.

The work of Muscat Charity Team during the first quarter of this year was discussed at the meeting. The committee appreciated the team’s efforts in this field. It is noteworthy that Muscat Charitable Team is working on studying the cases of solvent people and people with disabilities. It seeks to offer assistance to them through a group of productive programs. For example, a program to support orphans, sponsor needy families, and relieve distress. In addition to supporting students and other programs.
