Muscat Stock Exchange Index Drops 70 Points in Latest Trading

Muscat:  The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 8,162.84 points, down by 70.15 points, or 0.85 percent, compared to the previous session.

Trading value stood at RO 44.9 million, marking a decrease of 32.75 percent from the previous session’s RO 66.8 million.

Market capitalisation declined by 0.482 percent to reach approximately RO 37.97 billion, according to the MSX.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 1.58 million, representing 3.51 percent of total trading, while sales reached RO 5.53 million, accounting for 12.31 percent.

Net non-Omani investment recorded a negative balance of RO 3.95 million.
