Nama Week in Dhofar campaign launched

Salalah: The “Nama Week in Dhofar” was launched in the Governorate of Dhofar, which is organized by the Nama Dhofar Services Company, in cooperation with a number of government agencies, as part of the sustainability plan of the Nama Group. The campaign aims to promote the concept of economic, environmental and social sustainability and consolidate community participation.

Eng. Ali bin Issa Shammas, CEO of Namaa Dhofar Services, said: Namaa Group continues its efforts to achieve the objectives of the pillars of environmental, social and economic sustainability, as the company seeks through this campaign to provide services and initiatives that benefit the community.

The campaign’s work included holding a “Safe Home” exhibition, in cooperation with the Civil Defense and Ambulance Authority, in order to enhance home safety among all members of society, rationalize electricity and water consumption, and use energy efficiently.

The campaign also includes presenting a series of various environmental initiatives, which include activities to plant local trees in different locations in the governorate, in addition to organizing an event to clean Al-Dahariz Beach in cooperation with the Dhofar Municipality, and holding a group of various activities and competitions and entertainment.
