MOH Receives New Ambulances.

Muscat: As part of the partnership between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the private sector the Ministry received today (Monday) from the National Bank of Oman (NBO) eight ambulance (6) of which are for the Directorate General of Health Services of Muscat Governorates (DGHS-Muscat) and (2) for the Directorate General of Health Services of Dhofar Governorate (DGHS-Dhofar).

The handover ceremony was attended by H.E. Dr Fatma bin Mohammed Al-Ajmi, MOH undersecretary for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs and Abdullah bin Zahrain Al-Hinai, Chief Executive Officer of NBO along with a number of MOH and NBO senior officials

Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed Al-Ajmi pointed out that the NBO contribution is part of the government partnerships adopted by the Bank to improve the community servers and development projects for the public interest.

The Chief Executive Officer of NBO state that health and safety of the community are in our top priority, therefore, NBO is keen to cooperate with all partners and concerned authorities to ensure channeling support and necessary assistance for the most needed sectors.

It is worth mentioning that a joint team from the NBO and DGHS-Muscat has supervised the equipment of the new ambulances in order to comply with the MOH standards.
