Muscat: National Finance Issues Disclosure regarding the ex-CEO
In a disclosure to Muscat Stock Exchange the company said: “Further to our disclosure of June 19, 2023 advising that the Appeal Court (with different panel of judges) has issued its judgement obliging National Finance to pay RO 286,017.835 to Mr. Shahin Mohammed Al Balushi, the ex-CEO.
The Supreme Court judgement in the petition filed by the Company against the Appeal Court judgment issued by the first panel in May 2021 obliging the company to pay 840 thousand Omani Riyals revoked the said appeal court judgment.
The Supreme Court issued its decision on 4 December 2023 the petitions filed by the parties and the judgement issued by the Appeal Court (different panel of judges) is final and binding.”
