National Immunization Coverage Survey for children in Al Wusta Health Completes 

Haima: The Directorate General of Health Services in Al Wusta Governorate completed the national survey of immunization coverage rates for children from seven months to five years of age in the wilayats of Al Wusta Governorate.

Dr. Ibrahim bin Hilal Al-Mahrooqi, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services in Al-Wusta Governorate, indicated the success of the survey work in the governorate, where coverage was 100% of the targeted, appreciating the efforts and cooperation of all supporting agencies, citizens and residents who were included in the national survey of immunization coverage rates for children with field teams.

The national survey of immunization coverage rates for children targets all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman with the aim of verifying the validity of results and routine reports and providing information, in addition to the number of children who have been properly immunized at all levels (national, governorate and state levels).

The survey also aims to direct executive policies by presenting best practices and focusing on challenges that require effective interventions in order to improve the performance of the national immunization program.
