

Muscat: The National Museum announced its official joining to the United Nation’s World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) as an affiliate member.
This was announced during the 25th session of the UNWTO general assembly which was held in Uzbekistan.
Accordingly, the National Museum is the first museum in the Sultanate of Oman to become an affiliate member in the UNWTO.
Jamal Hassan Al Moosawi, Secretary General of the National Museum said that the museum’s joining of UNWTO reflects the museum’s commitments to enhancing cultural exchange.
It also embodies the museum’s efforts to enhance sustainability in the tourism sector. – ONA
