National Museum organises a lecture on ‘Moscow Kremlin Museums’

Muscat: With the aim of enhancing cultural and museum exchange between the National Museum and international museums, the NM represented by the learning Centre at its headquarters, organised today a lecture on Moscow Kremlin Museums presented by Dr. Elena Gagarina, the General Director of Moscow Kremlin Museums, in the presence of a number of those interested in the cultural and museum field.

During the lecture, the Dr Gagarina gave a historical overview of the Moscow Kremlin Museums and the ancient buildings it contains that reflect the elegance of Russian religious and secular architecture.

Dr Gagarina also discussed the most prominent efforts of the all four sections of scientific restoration in the Moscow Kremlin Museums including metals, paintings, textiles and paper. She also highlighted other principal activities of museums, including holding exhibitions and cultural programs, lectures, workshops, and special publications, which in turn enrich the visitor’s experience.
