National University of Science and Technology celebrates the graduation of 1087 students

Muscat: The National University of Science and Technology celebrated today the graduation of 1,087 male and female students holding master’s, bachelor’s and diploma degrees from the colleges of medicine, health sciences, engineering, pharmacy and Oman International Maritime College for the academic year 2022-2023 under the patronage of His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance.

The Honorable Dr. Ali bin Saud Al-Bimani, President of the National University, gave a speech in which he said that the university has always provided the labor market annually with outputs that are highly competent and qualified to compete and contribute to building a competitive national economy based on knowledge and graduating generations capable of withstanding difficulties and facing challenges armed with knowledge, skills and the spirit of… Challenge, persistence, determination and creativity.

He added that the university is working hard to keep pace with the modernization of the education system in line with the goals of “Oman Vision 2040” within a specific time plan to obtain academic accreditation from the Omani Authority for Academic Accreditation and Quality of Education (OAAQA).
