NCEM Highlights Importance of Community Awareness in Emergency Response

Muscat: The National Committee for Emergency Management (NCEM) held a meeting today under the chairmanship of the Inspector General of Police and Customs, Chairman of the Committee.

During the meeting, members reviewed the mandates and tasks of the NCEM, along with mechanisms to further develop its work. Discussions also addressed a number of topics related to enhancing efficiency and raising the level of readiness across the committee’s various sectors.

The Inspector General of Police and Customs commended the high level of coordination and integration among the concerned authorities, praising the committee’s overall preparedness. He expressed his appreciation to the committee’s members, subcommittees, and relevant entities for their efforts and commitment.
