    • New batch of citizens joins ROP

    Muscat: A new batch of Omani national cadres joined the Royal Oman Police, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, as part of the national efforts to accommodate Omani youth in the performance of national duty after they completed the evaluation and admission procedures.

    The new batch includes, in addition to holders of a general education diploma qualification, a number of post-general education diploma holders in mechanical and electronic engineering disciplines.

    The new entrants to the Police Institute will join the new recruits at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences to train and qualify them according to an integrated program that includes scientific studies and research in the field of police and legal tasks, in addition to military and sports training.
