New location for Al Mouj street vendors: Muscat Municipality

Al Mouj Street Vendors Will Be Shifted To Seeb Market Soon: MM

Muscat: As part of its ongoing endeavor to regulate the activities of street vendors, Muscat Municipality announced the provision of a new location instead of Al Mouj Street on Seeb Beach for food cart owners who have a license to practice the profession, while giving a two-month period to those who do not have permits to rectify their situation.

The site was equipped with the necessary services, with cleaning workers permanently allocated to ensure a healthy environment, as well as waste containers and direct transportation of waste. A health control inspector will also be provided to visit the site periodically to ensure that appropriate procedures are followed in dealing with food, meat, and other materials.

It is noteworthy that the new location is distinguished by its proximity to the Seeb market and its extension on the seashore, with the availability of more than 180 parking spaces.
