Muscat Municipality has announced the addition of parking lots for vehicles subject to fees in a number of vital areas in Muscat Governorate, starting from tomorrow, January 1, 2023.
In a statement Muscat Municipality said: Intending to ensure smooth traffic flow across the governorate & to limit random occupation of parking spaces, the following places will be marked as metered parking lots starting from Sunday Jan 1, 2023.
Pursuant to administrative decision 151/2016 issuing the regulation governing the use of public parking lots in Muscat, and intending to enhance traffic flow across the governorate, Muscat Municipality wishes to announce that the following parking lots will be added as metered parking lots, effective January 1st 2023;
1 – The parking lots near the building of the Directorate-General of labour welfare of the ministry of labour in Ruwi
2- The new car parks at al-khoud souk and the ones behind Ooredoo store.
