    • North Al Batinah OCCI discusses challenges faced by SMEs, establish database

    Sohar: The Small and Medium Enterprises Committee of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Al Batinah North Governorate, during a meeting held in Sohar, discussed the most important challenges faced by small and medium enterprises in the business sector.

    During the meeting, they discussed a proposal to establish a database for small and medium enterprises in their various sectors among all branches of the Chamber in the governorates by creating a platform that facilitates the process of classifying the small and medium enterprises sector in the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of issues related to the development of the private sector and facilitating its procedures.

    The meeting also discussed the exchange of knowledge and experiences in providing programs and developing the necessary plans to support small and medium enterprises in line with the Chamber’s strategy.
