North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Winter Festival discussed

Ibra: The Municipal Council of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate in its tenth meeting of the year, discussed holding the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Winter Festival, headed by HE Mahmoud bin Yahya Al Dhahli, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah, Chairman of the Council.

The Council discussed a number of topics, most notably development proposals for projects in the governorate’s, and the formation of work teams concerned with studying, organizing, following up and implementing the Council’s initiatives, festivals and events in the governorate.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed a number of community initiatives implemented by citizens in the governorate’s, most notably the initiative to create a protection fence on the “Misroun” road linking the states of Al-Mudaybi and Ibra, in addition to discussing the evaluation of the work of private sector companies working in a number of projects in the state of Bidiya. The Council also reviewed the responses received from a number of government institutions that were referred to it.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Council hosted a number of sectors to learn about the latest developments in existing projects, and the civil initiatives work team, which reviewed the initiative to build roads for farms and homes and prepare ancient archaeological lanes in a number of states in the governorate.
