150 Educational Personnel Honored in North A’Sharqiyah

Ibra: The Directorate General of Education in North A’Sharqiyah Governorate today honored 150 members of administrative and teaching staff, personnel associated with the educational sector in schools across the governorate and a number of educational supervisors for the academic year 2025/2026.

Aliya Said Al Habsi, Director General of Education in North A’Sharqiyah Governorate, said that celebrating Teacher’s Day reflects the importance of the teacher’s role in building generations and shaping the future.

She added that the recognition aligns with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 aimed at empowering national competencies and developing the educational work environment.

The ceremony included vocal performances and a musical operetta highlighting the role of teachers in education and community development.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Mahmoud Yahya Al Thuhli, Governor of North A’Sharqiyah and chief guest of the event, honored distinguished members from the recognized educational categories.
