Muscat: The statistical yearbook issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) revealed that there were about 34,000 non-Omani employees working in the government sector by the end of 2019, as the total number of workers in the government sector of various nationalities during the past year was 229,386, of whom 195,338 were Omani.
