OCCI delegation concludes its visit to Saudi Arabia

Ibra: The trade delegation at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate concluded its visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today within the framework of the mutual visits carried out by trade delegations from the Chamber’s branches in the Sultanate of Oman to various countries of the world, in order to exchange experiences in the commercial and economic field. Attracting investors to establish commercial projects in the country, and discussing partnership with business owners and commercial institutions in those countries.

The visit, which began on the eighth of this month, included many meetings and visits held by the delegation of the North Asharqia Chamber, headed by Muhammad bin Nasser Al Maskari, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber’s branch, where he praised the importance of this visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the great benefit that the members of the delegation came out with through the meetings. And field visits and meetings with their counterparts from the Saudi side, stressing that these visits have created many agreements and joint cooperation between the Omani and Saudi sides in exchanging and encouraging investment between the two brotherly countries.

During his visit, the delegation held a number of meetings, most notably the meeting with His Excellency Iman Al-Mutairi, the Saudi Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the National Competitiveness Center, in addition to meeting with those concerned in the Riyadh Chamber, where they discussed many aspects of cooperation and partnership in attracting capital between the two countries.

During the visit, in which a number of businessmen and owners of small and medium enterprises participated in the states of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the delegation also visited a number of factories and commercial and economic establishments in the Kingdom, most notably the visit to the Dates Factory in Riyadh, the visit to the farms project of Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi, and the visit to the Royal Commission to the city of Riyadh, in addition to visiting the United Riyadh Factory.

His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, also met with the members of the delegation, appreciating this visit and its importance to businessmen and owners of small and medium enterprises in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate, emphasizing the great role that mutual investment plays between the two brotherly countries in consolidating the bonds of friendship. And brotherhood and mutual benefit in this field, pointing to His Highness the embassy’s encouragement to everyone who seeks to create a commercial partnership with the Saudi side through facilities, continuous follow-up, and providing advice and consultations necessary for the success of these partnerships and achieving their goals in the long term.
