OCCI Organizes “Creative Heritage Exhibition” in Dibba Fort

Dibba: The activities and programs of the “Creative Heritage Exhibition” organized by the Musandam branch of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry continue at its third stop in Dibba Fort as part of the Musandam Chamber’s markets activities, with the participation of the Omani Women’s Association in Dibba and a number of small and medium enterprise owners.

The exhibition, which will last until February 8, seeks to market and promote national products and goods, support small and medium enterprises, home projects and productive families, and provide participants with experience and skills in marketing and displaying value-added products.

The exhibition witnessed a wide attendance from the people of the governorate and visitors, as the exhibition includes various corners for popular foods, traditional crafts, pottery making, photography, handmade products, henna painting, cosmetic products, a coffee corner, recreational games for children, and a theater for competitions and folk arts.

The exhibition also includes a special section on the ancient Omani heritage that characterizes the Musandam Governorate, in addition to holding training courses in the field of palm fronds, pottery and ceramics making, and shipbuilding and woodworking.

Holding such exhibitions contributes to revitalizing domestic tourism, by attracting the people of the governorate, visitors and tourists coming to the governorate during the winter tourist season, as it gives them the opportunity to learn about local products and goods, enjoy various activities, and learn about the Omani ways of life in Musandam Governorate, historically and culturally.
