OCCI to hold Omani-Yemeni Forum

Salalah: Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Dhofar Governorate is preparing to hold the Omani-Yemeni Forum to facilitate and attract investment in the governorate, which will be organized during the coming period with the participation of a number of entrepreneurs and companies from both countries.

As part of the Chamber’s branch in Dhofar Governorate’s promotion of the forum, Nayef bin Hamid Bait Fadel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber’s branch, met with Counselor Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al-Hassani, Acting Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Turkey.

During the meeting, the services provided by the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Turkey were introduced. Services and facilities provided to business owners.

The promotional plan for the Omani-Yemeni Forum to facilitate investment in Dhofar Governorate and the desired investment prospects of the forum, which aims to reach a number of Yemeni investors in various countries, including Turkey, were also reviewed.

In the same field, a meeting was also held with His Excellency Ambassador Mohammed bin Saleh Tarik, Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Republic of Turkey, in the presence of Counselor Ibrahim Al-Hassani, Acting Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Turkey. To discuss aspects of cooperation and coordination in a way that serves and enhances investment opportunities between the two brotherly countries and introduces the Omani-Yemeni Forum to facilitate investment in Dhofar Governorate.

The forum aims to create economic and investment partnerships between businessmen in the two brotherly countries and work to attract investments to the governorate, which contributes to enhancing economic development.
