    • OFA will not renew Oman’s coach Branko Ivankovic contract

    Muscat: The Oman Football Association announces that it will not renew Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic at the end of the Oman’s national team’s campaign in the 2023 AsiaCup.

    Oman on Thursday ends 1-1 draw to Kyrgyz Republic in a Group F match of the AFC Asian Cup Qatar 2023 in Doha to crash out of the competition.

    OFA said: “The Omani Football Association informs Croatian coach Branko Ivankovic of the Federation’s unwillingness to renew with him, at the end of the national team’s campaign in the 2023 Asian Cup.

    The Federation’s Board of Directors thanks the coach for the period he spent as coach of Oman’s football team, wishing him success in his next journey.”
