    • OHRC Holds Meeting

    Muscat: Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) today held its 1st meeting of the 1st annual convening of the 5th term, under the chairmanship of Dr. Rashid Hamad Al Balushi, Chairman of OHRC.

    The meeting discussed a spectrum of topics, namely steps implemented to upgrade the comission’s ranking to reach “A” Status in the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions.

    It also highlighted the awareness programme implemented by the commission in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development, among other topics.    -ONA
