    Muscat: Oman Investment and Finance Company SAOG (OIFC) issues Update on the Lawsuit to Invalidate the Resolutions of the EGM to Dissolve and Merge.

    In a disclosure to Muscat Stock Exchange the company said: “Further to the disclosure issued on December 19 2023, with regard to the lawsuit filed against the Company by a number of its shareholders demanding the court to invalidate the resolutions of the extraordinary general meeting (‘the EGM”) of the company related to approving its dissolution merger with Dhofar International Development and Investment Holding Company SAOG through incorporation, where the competent court had adjourned the hearing until 2 January 2024 for judgement.

    We would like to disclose that the competent court issued today a preliminary judgement to appoint a financial and administrative expert.

    The company will disclose any material development concerning the lawsuit in due course.”
