    Muscat: Oman Investment and Finance Company (OIFC) receives merger offer from Dhofar International Development and Investment Holding Company (DIDC)

    In a disclosure to Muscat stock exchange the company said: “Further to the disclosure dated 12 February 2023 stating that Oman Investment and Finance Company SAOG (OIFC) ‘The Company” has received a letter from Dhofar International Development and Investment Holding Company SAOG ‘DIDC’ expressing its desire to merge with The Company by the way of incorporation.

    We would like to inform our shareholders The Company received yesterday evening 31 May 2023 a detailed merger offer from ‘DIDC’, which includes the swap ratio of the shares of the merging and the merged company ‘DIDC’.

    The Board of Directors will discuss the merger offer and will disclose any decision that could be taken in this regard in due course. The proposed merger is subject to the applicable laws, approval of the relevant regulatory authorities and of the shareholders of both companies.”
