The Oman Air Board of Directors announced that Captain Nasser Al-Salmi assumed the duties of Acting CEO of Oman Air in addition to his current duties, thanking the former CEO, Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Raisi, for his achievements and commitment throughout his tenure at Oman Air over the past thirty years.
He said in a statement today: “We are confident that Captain Nasser will succeed in performing his new duties due to his comprehensive understanding of our operations and his proven track record in enabling Oman Air to lead in the field of operational performance of airline operations, and we support everyone to provide support and assistance to him in the performance of his duties. In the coming period, we will complete administrative changes and appoint a new management with extensive experience in the field of strategic transformation of airlines, and we will continue our efforts to achieve our goal of enabling aviation to be financially sustainable and to maintain the quality and reliability of services provided to Oman Air passengers.”
