

Muscat: Oman Air will participate tomorrow (Monday) in the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), the region’s leading international travel and tourism event, held at Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
As many as 2,000 participants from the global travel community will come together for the four days of exhibits, discussions, and networking.
The 30th edition of Arabian Travel Market (ATM) will be held under the theme of ‘Working Towards Net Zero’. The conference programmewill address various sustainability issues in the travel industrywith motivational speakers, entrepreneurs, and leadership figures across a variety of sectors such as destinations, travel technology, airlines, cruise, hospitality, car rental, hotels and hospitality.
Eng. Abdulaziz Saud Al Raisi, CEO of Oman Air, said that Oman Air will work through this participation in promoting Oman as a lucrative and unique destination.
Al Raisi added, “With the high level of exposure these kinds of events provide, we have a unique opportunity to market Oman, and our brand, on a global stage, as well as keep up to date with key travel trends, identify strategic business opportunities, and reach a wider audience of potential customers.”
He also said that Oman Air continues to pursue a network and fleet expansion, while tapping into new market opportunities such as cargo and investing in its digital capabilities. In 2024, the airline is set to join the oneworld Alliance, which will see it broaden its global reach and provide guests with huge benefits and greater travel options, further strengthening its leading position in the Middle East. – ONA
