Oman air replaces board members, appoints new board members

Muscat: Oman Air on Saturday announced the company’s Board Members were replaced, the newly appointed Board Members have extensive global experience in the aviation sector.

In a statement Oman Air said: Oman Air held its Ordinary General Assembly, presided over by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, His Excellency Eng. Saeed Al Mawali. During the meeting, some of the company’s Board Members were replaced. The newly appointed Board Members have extensive global experience in the aviation sector.

The company’s Board of Directors also held a meeting on Saturday 19 August 2023 to approve the new organisational structure of the company and the implementation steps of the transformation programme.

His Excellency Eng. Saeed Al Mawali emphasised the need for collaborative efforts in the coming period to enhance the company’s capabilities in line with the government’s directives that focus on maximising investment returns and achieving financial sustainability for Oman Air.”
