In a statement Oman Airport said: “As part of our commitment to applying the highest standards of response to emergencies and in implementation of the procedures followed in the airports of the world, and in cooperation with our strategic partners, Oman Airports would like to announce that it is in the process of carrying out an evacuation exercise at the aircraft cleaning crew building at Muscat International Airport to measure the standard operating procedures for internal responders at the airport, on Wednesday, July 19%, 2023, from 8:00 to 9:00. A.M.
Oman Airports confirms that all necessary preparations have been taken to ensure that airport operations and traffic in the areas adjacent to the airport are not affected.
