Muscat: Oman Airports celebrated a major national achievement as Muscat International Airport and Salalah Airport were honored at the 2023 World Customer Service Summit, which brought together the global airport sector under one roof in Atlanta, USA.
This recognition comes as a result of the two airports receiving several prestigious awards for customer experience in 2023, acknowledging the significant efforts made in the Sultanate of Oman to enhance the quality of services provided to passengers.
Muscat International Airport received the award for Best Airport in the Middle East for Airports Serving 5 to 15 Million Passengers Annually and the award for Best Airport in the Middle East for Quality of Services.
Additionally, the airport earned a distinguished global recognition for its unprecedented achievement of winning multiple awards over five consecutive years under the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) program, joining the ranks of elite global airports to receive this prestigious honor.
Salalah Airport was also recognized with several awards, including Best Airport in the Middle East in the Category of Airports Serving Less than 2 Million Passengers

This international recognition positions Oman’s airports among the best in the world and underscores their pioneering role in enhancing the travel experience on both regional and global levels.
