    Oman, Belarus Discuss Economic, Trade and Investment Cooperation

    Minsk: The Omani trade delegation currently visiting the Republic of Belarus discussed ways to enhance economic, trade and investment cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Belarus, and reviewed opportunities to expand partnerships between the private sectors of the two countries.

    The discussions took place during a meeting between Faisal bin Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and Head of the Omani delegation, and Maxim Ryzhenkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.

    The Omani delegation also met with Mikalai Barysisevich, Director General of the National Centre for Export Promotion of Belarus.

    During the meetings, the two sides reviewed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the business communities of the two countries and discussed a number of initiatives aimed at supporting trade and investment and expanding areas of economic partnership.

    The discussions highlighted the importance of enhancing private sector cooperation and exploring new opportunities that contribute to the growth of bilateral relations and serve the shared interests of the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus.

    Several members of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry attended the meetings.
