    Muscat: The Foreign Minister and his Iranian counterpart affirm, during a telephone conversation, their commitment to ensuring the freedom and security of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

    This commitment is grounded in their respective sovereign responsibilities over their territorial waters, in accordance with international law, and with due regard for the interests of all regional and international parties.
